What is your minimum delivery?

Our minimum delivery is 125 gallons. Our ordering system will notify you of the minimum delivery before your credit card is processed.

Do you only deliver to residential homes? What if I rent?

Online ordering is a service for all residential homeowners or rental customers. Simply enter the delivery address you would like the delivery to be made.

Do you deliver to commercial businesses?

Online ordering is not available for commercial customers. Please contact our office directly at 570-366-1275 to create a customized delivery plan and pricing.

When will I receive my order?

Our standard timeframe is within 3 business days from the date the order is placed.

Do I need to be home when you deliver?

You do not need to be home when we make your delivery UNLESS you ran out of oil and need a “prime and start” or your fill pipe is not accessible from outside.

What if I ran out of oil?

Your heating system will require a prime and start in order to for it to run after the delivery has been made. Our cost to perform a prime and start is $50 which can be selected when making your order. To prevent this from happening to our customers, automatic delivery services are available. Will you deliver on weekends?

Not for online ordering. We deliver Monday thru Friday only (excluding major holidays).

I noticed the price dropped after I placed my order. Can I pay the lower price?

No, prices are set at the time you place your order not when the fuel is delivered regardless if the price went up or down.

I ordered more oil than my tank can hold. What do I do?

You do not need to do anything. An online credit is issued to your account which can be used for a future order. We do not charge any fees for short orders.

How do you handle online security of my personal information?

We take online security very seriously. All personal and credit card information submitted during your online transaction is encrypted and secured. Additionally we do not store any of your personal information.

Do I need a signed contract?

HB Steele & Son does not require any type of contract for online transactions. Once your payment is submitted, we will do everything possible to meet your expectations and in return we hope to earn your business again in the future.

Do you deliver in my area?

What forms of payment can I use?

Can someone service my heating system?

Yes! We are a full service heating oil provider which means we take pride in ensuring your heating system is running safety and efficiently. What is in the fuel that I am purchasing?

H.B. Steele & Son only sells clean, treated fuel so that our customers’ equipment will last longer with less likelihood of system failure or breakdown. Additionally we offer HOT Treatment to protect your fuel during the coldest days of winter and SBG Treatment that eliminates sludge in old tanks in a wet, damp, indoor environment.
